About Bonfire Vanity
Bonfire Vanity is an alternative rock band from New York City formed in 2020. The lineup consists of Vinay Kshirsagar (vocals, keys), David Rockoff (guitar and bass), and Sam Schimek (drums, production). The band's debut single "Redline (Subway Dreams)" was released on June 16 2021, featuring angular riffs and gritty production reminiscent of the Strokes paired with mellow and atmospheric production. A music video for the song, shot in the New York City subway, was released in July. Their second single, "Igloo", was released on July 28 2021 and featured a more lo-fi rock/bedroom pop direction. Subsequent singles were released throughout 2021, culminating in the release of the "Pure Vanity" EP in January 2022. Official site
