About Boletes
boletes is the musical creation of 19-year-old singer–songwriter, Roy Gornall from Livingston, Scotland. Formed in 2009, his ambient guitar style creates a mellow atmosphere for a laid-back audience. After his debut on local radio station (Gap Radio), Roy began playing minor shows around his local area, the very first of which he was a support act for the artist known as ‘Unicorn Kid’. In August 2009 boletes opened the third day of the ‘Sound Of Summer Festival’ where he supported such acts as ‘Tommy Reilly’ and ‘Frightened Rabbit’. His fan base grew widely online due to a tireless effort in sending out demos and messaging fans of similar sounding artists.
