About Bo-Pee Bowen
Winston "Bo-Pee" Bowen was a reggae guitarist who started his career in the 1970s, recording at the legendary Channel One. Bowen played guitar on many albums by the likes of Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Ijahman Levi, The Abyssinians and many many more, and as a result of this he soon developed into one of the most sought-after musicians of the island. Unfortunately in March 2019 he passed away at the age of 62, after suffering a heart attack at his home in Kingston, Jamaica. Bowen is survived by his wife Lorna, six children and eight grandchildren.
