About Blueski
A Manchester-based "mysterious {18} year old artist". - Tom Robinson Introduced to the world of electronic music that wasn't run-of-the-mill EDM by an online friend turned offline, Blue soon found herself entangled. Beginning with artists like Loli in Early 20s and Jacksonifyer, and fast transitioning to Aphex, µ-Ziq, Reversed Reference, Squarepusher, Pilote, Bogdan Raczynski and many more, her hunger to gain competence in expressing herself through sound was set in motion. A rocky start could be heard on a now abandoned Soundcloud account under an old screenname alongside some acoustic song covers from her school days, however she made her official "Breakcore-flavoured Japanese-languaged debut" on 6 Music's Tom Robinson Show with the track 'Aishite'. A short time later, Joseph Figueira of North Manchester FM would describe her music as "Theatrical", whilst a percussion-less track for Hyper Robin Recordings' HYPROBCOMP02 has been characterised as "warming airborne ambience".
