Blitz Vega is a rock band based between New York City and Los Angeles (yet fundamentally British) featuring Andy Rourke (once the bassist of The Smiths) alongside frontman and guitarist Kav Sandhu (of the Happy Mondays). The band debuted their first single, 'Hey Christo' on 16 April 2019. After a string of singles, Andy Rourke tragically passed away on 19 May 2023, but Kav kept his promise to Andy to finish and release Blitz Vega's album, Northern Gentleman. It came out in September 2024. Kav also promised Andy to tour the record no matter what.
