About Blipp!
Blipp! blossomed out of the Amiga tracker based Poetica Grotesque in the early nineties in Falun (Sweden) and developed an exhaltingly nifty synth pop with almost exclusively swedish lyrics. Their songs have a nostalgic, socially and scientifically naïve romanticism it is easy to be smitten by. Blipp! has released two albums on cd, a cd-single, a well produced demo tape and several smaller releases on tape and cd. As Poetica Grotesque they released atleast three demos and their first live recoding exists on tape in a few copies. Member Lars Mats (keyboards/programming) also make music under the name Violette. Anders Nygårds is not the same Anders Nygårds that made the soundtrack to the film "Masjävlar" Mats Ericsson is responsible for salvaging a lot of Arvid Tubas old recordings and for remixing them. Mats has also recently started the band Thor Modem (aka Melodia Trio) with a few other friends from Falun.
