Sometimes things happen unexpectedly! Bimbo and Lemar met after a consequence of unpredictable massive underground events being held in old fabrics and warehouses in the northern suburbs of Berlin, but before that their ways appear to have winded to a direction that could hardly be followed! In the early 90s Bimbo went to study in London and Lemar to New York. Their musical tastes then were severely influenced by artist like Aphex Twin, Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson, Adonis, Derrick May and many others. The underground life captured their minds and the culture of the the dirty basements diversed their artistic horizons. Bimbo felt the touch of vinyl for the first time at the end of 95and after that he couldnt just give it up. At that time Lemar was fascinated by the music production and bought a sampler and a drum machine and simply started experimenting with his brand new TB303. They both began to organize independent underground parties and were appreciated by many. Bimbo and Lemar met in Berlin were they moved to live at the end of 90s. The dark artistic movement in Berlin absorbed their abilities and one day they met in a massive happening that was held in a beer fabric, just one day before it was supposed to be ruined. The fabric was actually ruined but Bimbo and Lemar were connected by the sound of violence which they both performed. The DDP project was founded during their last tour in Ukraina, where the main aim was to help and redefine the nation's underground music, which makes Bimbo and Lemar one of the most conscientious artists on the scene. Thats simply how it all started
