Betty's modus operandi is to take on a different persona with each release. Brittle acid folk riffs dancing in circles around bedroom murmurs and electronic elements through a fog of tape hiss and saturation. Hammerschlag's influences are '60s folk singers, shoegaze tinkerers and meek indie outsiders, but the music sounds as if it's been dreamt into being by a napping AI.
