"It means 'beautiful spirit' in French" Belle Ame is pretty much the rival band to BECK in the anime "BECK". Ryuusuke (lead guitarist for BECK) and Eiji (lead for Belle Ame) were formerly bandmates, but the beginning of the series takes place with their band splitting up and each alpha-male vowing to bring their new band to the top.
