There are two artists with the name Bel Esprit 1) An Indie-Rock band from Southampton, UK 2) A Danish Rock band 1) Taking their name from the fund Ezra Pound made for T.S Eliot to get him out of his day job and write poetry full time, Bel Esprit are a hyper-literate Indie Rock band from Southampton. Taking their cue from the likes of The Velvet Underground, Patti Smith and Television they merge live energy with ambitious lyrics.
