About Beaufort Male Choir
The choir is based in Beaufort in the valleys town of Ebbw Vale (Gwent, Wales, U.K), famous for its rich heritage of steel and coal as well as its choral singing and brass bands. Founded over a century ago it initially concentrated on competitions with successful Eisteddfod performances. Recently, Under the Dierectorship of Craig James the choir has widened its appeal by performing a very varied repertoire from pop to traditional. Perfforming with the likes of Rhydian, Hayley Westenra and Alfie Boe. The diary is kept busy not just in local concerts, but travels to many U.K venues and some succesfull tours to European countries. The choir boasts a large selection of albums, unfortunately many of these are no longer on release.
