About Balfa
Head of BLF Lab, a space of creative experimentation, where the main media are electronics, code and signals. A meeting point for artistic practices with the goal of free, open knowledge through crafts and self-research. Balfa is a sound enthusiast trained in Telecommunications engineering and specialized in acoustics. His work is connected with the electronic circuits exploration using recycled materials for audio-visual creation. Known for his peculiar handmade machines and instruments, Balfa is manipulating and ‘bending’ every device he founds, making music from anything that can make sound. In September 2019, Perfecta Analogía De La Decadencia is self-released under his project and label BLF Lab. Made with the artist’s handcrafted synthesizers and instruments, this debut album encompasses the sonic explorations and experiences of living in Berlin for four years. Since then, he is performing and releasing music with these handmade machines.
