About Babyjohn
Babyjohn was founded in 2001 by Christophe (vocals) en Dimitri (keyboard) De Beukelaer and Maarten Van Cauwenberghe (guitar, keyboard). They make a demo, and soon after that they are joined by Yannick Daems (drums) and Filip Vandebril (bass). Babyjohn perform live a few times before they head to Ronda (Spain, Málaga) in december of 2001. In the EnFrente Arte-studio they record their debut-album "In Flux" early 2002. From March 2002 babyjohn performs at several clubs and festivals in Belgium and Holland (they play 'Mozaïque-festival' (NL) en 'Beach Rock' and more). In September of 2002 their first single "Lost Grooves" is released and they play as support-act for 'Le Peuple de l'herbe' and 'The Music'. Babyjohn plays groovy popsongs, a mix of rock and electronica.
