About Avangressive
“Avangressive” is a project born in 2013 in Padova, Italy, with the purpose to create a band with multiple influences, that could produce its own music, innovative, eclectical, but always with a look on harmony's aestethics. The basis were put in 2009, from the first experiments of Gianluca Pistorello (keyboards), Filippo Giurisato (guitar) and Gianni Bonafè (guitar). But only in 2013 the band has found its line up stability, with the arrival of Tommaso Temporin (drums), Paolo Berlato (voice) and Eleonora Bindi (bass). Since then, the band has started to produce new tracks and to perform live. It's not so easy to describe the band genre, it can by classified as Progressive Metal/Post Rock, as every member provides multiple and various influences during the compositions. At the beginning, the influences included grunge, electronical '70. Then they evolved, including a prominent progressive mood, and strong classical, rock and metal music contaminations. They're still evolving now, until gaining a Zappa's inheritance. Actually, it's impossible for us to limit creativity and to stay serious all the time! In April 2015, the band published its first EP, “Blending Galaxia and the Synthetic Formations”, a 5-tracks album based on a sci-fi story, which takes place on an apocalyptical future, where men have to escape from a devastated Earth and to peregrinate in Space, searching for a suitable place to live. During the journey, the will experience various celestial bodies. Space heterogeneity is the most appropriate topic to show in every track our different influences and characters!
