About Autumn Rose

There are two artists with this name: 1) Autumn Rose are an American contemporary country music duo fronted by Alicia Beale and Rachael Schleicher. 2) Autumn Rose was originally started as a project between Brian Parkinson and Ace Eaton in The Fall of 2003 as "The Corpse of Our Dear Mother Earth". At its beginning, it was intended to be a heavy symphonic/black metal band, but as the group composed further music, they realized that their passion lay more in heavy rock with ethereal soundscapes and alternative percussion. Pursuing this, a number of songs were conceived, but many never recorded to completion. With the addition of Kyle Behlville in mid 2004, and Jason Elchuck in late 2005, more beautiful compositions were made, some featuring intricate guitar work. Residency and occupational changes in 2007 put the band in a hiatus from which it has not emerged. Each member now composes independently, and there are optimistic, yet unlikely, plans for a reunion. Individual songs are available, but the band's hopeful 2006 demo release was never officially completed.
