There is more than one artist with this name. 1. An American psychedelic indie band. 2. Automata is a four piece act from Chicago, IL. Since the release of their self-produced debut EP Microcosm, Automata has been playing shows relentlessly. 3. Automata is a 5-piece rock act hailing from Salvador, Brazil. They have been around for 3 years, have released a promo CD and an acclaimed debut album. The album, "Indivíduo-Ação", was produced by the band itself and mastered by engineer Alan Douches (Sepultura, Yes, Bad Brains, Snapcase, The Chemical Brothers). Artwork was done by Marty Defatte for Guerrilla Digital (7 Angels 7 Plagues, Forstella Ford, McRad). "Indivíduo-Ação" has garnered excellent reviews nation-wide and the band is currently touring the country in support of it.
