Andrew West - AURORA SKY Rarely does sifting through the ashes present anything pleasant, but for the creators of AURORA SKY, timing proved to be the catalyst for something great. After the dust had settled from their former career together, the founders of FEAR THE CLOWN, Andrew "Gambit" West and Chris Shy realized that their 20+ year friendship and passion for creating music together had decided to take on a new chapter. That chapter, AURORA SKY, was ignited from a phone conversation in late 2007 that has quickly manifested into a powerful vehicle for the two to continue their young and innovative paths together. As only teenagers at the time, Shy and West were blessed enough with their former band to stumble upon a solid amount of success together by signing to then New York City based Gotham Records and landing a single on the hit T.V. series ‘Smallville’. Continuing with that success, Shy and West were signed by a major management company and began touring their music to the world. After a negative series of events ripped FEAR THE CLOWN apart, Shy decided to leave the music industry and allowed West to pursue his career on his own. Years later, the two have reunited with multi-platinum record producer Michael Raphael [JAILHOUSE/NEVE] to expand on the success they experienced as mere ‘kids’. In the summer of 2009, AURORA SKY signed an exclusive management deal with B2 Management & Artist Development founder Craig Stegall. Together, they are already working every avenue at radio and music press to lay the groundwork for what will be an all-out invasion of the senses in the fall of '09! With a tour of the East Coast planned, a single set to hit radio in September, and full digital distribution of their album through AWAY-TEAM MUSIC, AURORA SKY has become a powerful and turbo-charged force that is poised to direct many a fingers to the "repeat" button of MP3 Players across the World!!!
