Conceived in 1999, Aural Blasphemy is Joe Abrescia. Hailing from New York, Aural Blasphemy takes the typical and cliché sounds of rhythmic industrial into new territory while breaking new ground into familiar areas. Cold, oppressive atmospheres and spine tingling rhythms abound on Abrescia's masterpiece while letting the listener hear what beautiful torture sounds like. Aural Blasphemy built quite a large buzz for himself in the underground industrial community by releasing several strong demo tapes and limited 3" cd's on his own label, Frozen Empire Media.
