Audiotransparent was a Dutch slowcore / indie band from Groningen, The Netherlands. Active from 2002 to circa 2012, the band released three full-length albums: Audiotransparent (2003), Nevland (2005) and Checkhov Guns (2009), plus several (split) singles and contributions to compilation albums. The definitive line-up comprised Bart Looman (vocals, guitar, bass), Wessel Spijkerman (drums, vocals), Gijs van Veldhuizen (guitar, synthesizer, sampler, vocals), Andreas Willemse (piano, synthesizer, violin, vocals) and Chris van der Ploeg (guitar, vocals). Former members: Jan-Willem Wools (guitar), Evert-Jan Luchies (drums), Wouter Touw (vocals) and Michel Weber (drums).
