About Audio Habitat
Audio Habitat was created in 2004 from Imagination D, Stints, Scepticc and Atomic Dread. All 4 grew up in the same Village and discovered there love to Breakbeats in the Year 1992. The project Audio Habitat consists of four members, Imagination D, Stints, Scepticc und Atomic Dread. Their inimitable style breeds loads of hight tech soundscapes while remaining puristic on the surface. Audio Habitat are just your type if you are into some hypnosis induced by seriously dark rollers, eerie sci-fi soundscapes, wonderfully wooden percussions, blasting breaks, deadly basslines or meticulous melodies of rare and raw beauty. They have released on Sidechain Music before, as they have on DJ SS’ renowned Formation label! After some EPs for Sidechain they are now droppin’ an album where the ying and yang of bass music reigns throughout 12 strong tracks. They can keep the dancefloor moving as well as letting your mind travel to far away places. Some dark, some flooded by celestial light... all wound up in the cosy rug of thick bass.
