Atiye Deniz was born on 22 November, 1988 in Bremen, Germany. Her father is of Turkish orign, while her mother is from The Netherlands. She studied in Bremen and İzmir, Turkey during her childhood. At age 3, she started dance, and at 6, piano. Her debut song/video "Don't Think" scored two million views on YouTube and she won the Kral TV "Newcomer of the Year 2007" award. That same year, she toured with Nazan Öncel, and in 2009, she was nominated for Best Turkish Act at the Europe Music Awards.
