About Astral Cloud Ashes
Formed in January 2016 and based on the Island of Jersey, Astral Cloud Ashes is: Antony Walker: Guitar, Vocals, Bass, Drums, Synths. Jason Neil: Rhythm Guitar, Backing Vocals. Astral Cloud Ashes were first featured on BBC 6music in April 2016 by both Tom Robinson and Steve Lamacq. Since then they have released Debut album ‘Too Close to the Noise Floor’ on 11th July 2016, and released their first and only music video in Dartmoor in August 2016 - www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuDyeSuuQ8g. Often described as alternative or post-emo, Astral Cloud Ashes are unsigned and list their influences as Now Now, Tubelord, The Cure, Pavement, The Pixies, XTC and Eels. In 2017 Astral Cloud Ashes have started recording the follow-up to their debut album. A number of songs have already been mixed in the UK in March (London, Devon, Brighton) and the first single "Moonphase Bloom" was released on 7/7/17 ahead of their sophomore full-length album expected later this year.
