Formed in Northport, MI around summer 2006, Army Ants is a musical menagerie of styles, instruments, and players. Centering around Ben Wetherbee(vocals, acoustic guitar) and McGuire Irvine's( guitars, bass, percussion) songwriting, Army Ants creates a lively, dynamic soundscape with acoustic and electric instruments. Guest musicians Maggie Racich, John Varley, and Andrew Kenny also perform on Army Ants debut, While You Slept I Dug a Hole.
