About Ardy & Lasses Öronpaj

The mostly pantomime comedy duo of Ardy & Lasses Öronpaj did lots of TV in the 60's and early 70's. Their self-titled album was released by Sveriges Radio and featured freaky humour and uninhibited jazz-rock played by stellar musicians Janne Schaffer and Ola Brunkert (both in Opus III), Berndt Egerbladh (Heta Linjen) as well as the Egba trio of Ulf Andersson, Ahmadu Jarr and Stefan Brolund. Ardy Strüwer later relocated to France and returned to his painting while Lasse Åberg became a highly successful film director/actor. He also collaborated with Janne Schaffer in the Electric Banana Band, performing children's music to great success.
