About Arcadian Theory

Arcadian Theory formed as a serious band in early 2006 ,after being nothing more than a jam band with friends. Eventually the earlier group fell apart leading to the start of the 'modern' Arcadian Theory, Justin jumped from playing just guitar to teaching himself to sing and play, Rusty joined the band as its drummer and Shane became the bassist. Over time the band grew, and worked on material until Shane had to depart for the US NAVY, the band continued to work on new material, and get better, until AT's new bassist Mitchell joined. The group spent the remainder of the year playing various shows and cultivating a niche in the san antonio scene. Mitchell departed, leaving a void. Jake Ames replaced him as bass player and the group eventually went through various names trying to find a bigger sound. In early 2009 the group reformed, focusing on new ambient rock sound. Details are scarce as to what this will sound like at the time, or even the full lineup of the band.
