About Arcadevegeta
Neukölln is gritty, seedy, its inhabitants always hustling. Neukölln is a simmering melting pot, infamous in some corners, yet somehow hip. This is basically the sound of ’Arcadevegeta’. The four man band has ’Funk-Rock-Core’ on their doorbell which although not as tongue-twisting as the name of the band fits their plan to rock heads a little bit different from other bands in the city. The band formed up in 2001 in Berlin - Neukölln, yet at this time with two guitars. 2002 the first Album "Hear You Louder" is recorded. As the second guitarist leaves about a year later, the band throws the hole set aboard and starts from scratch. After two years of reorientation the second album "Full Stop Ahead" is recorded under their own direction. After three years of touring throught the local soundset, the third album "Slot Machine" (2008) is ready to be released. But before this happens, guitarist Tobi leaves for personal reasons. Though the album makes it's mark and will be published by "mondo press berlin". Currently the band is about to compose a new album with a fresh guitar and bass - section.
