About Arash Ghasemi
Arash Ghasemi is an Iranian-born mechanical engineer, educated at Politecnico di Milano, now based in Prague. By day he works as a Deployment Project Manager; by night he is a multi-instrumentalist and composer in the city’s experimental underground. He is one half of the duo Gnäw (with Finnish musician Simo Hakalisto). His music is hypnotic and slow-burning: cross-cultural ambient textures meet psych-folk drone and quiet mysticism, rooted in tradition yet deliberately otherworldly and alien.
