About Antonio Martinelli

Antonio Martinelli (c. 1702-1782) was a Venetian cellist and composer. He was the most prominent teacher of stringed instruments in three of the Venetian ospedali in the wake of Vivaldi, and briefly managed the Teatro Dolfin in Treviso.
