With todays music constantly changing, Angry Nerdz sees no problem adjusting or competing with music in the industry by bringing a unique style of party, dance, R&B/Hip-Hop flavor. With a rapidly growing fan base across the world, Angry Nerdz is dedicated to making music for the fans with style and creativity like no other. Their hard work and musical variety will definitely be one to remember. Coming from Indiana and starting out as solo artists, members Maxx, Loc the Great, and Cashdro came together to form the group Angry Nerdz. During their solo periods Maxx and Loc the Great have done numerous shows across their region gaining a fanbase. Maxx ended up moving to Atlanta for a few months to gain knowledge on how music should be created by bettering himself in production, songwriting, and learning the whole business of the music industry by working with indie label Disturbing the Peace. After winning a beat battle in Atlanta, Maxx eventually caught the attention of BET (Black Entertainment Television) Vice President, Reggie Williams who came to his in-home studio to check out some music and was offered a contract to do production for TV shows on the network as well as other cable networks such as MTV, Spike, Centric TV, and TLC. This was a gateway for more dedication and taking his music more serious. After moving back to Indiana, Maxx expanded his resume by being featured on and producing songs with mainstream artists such as Jibbs, Gorilla Zoe, Huey, Dorrough, Shawty Lo, Yung Joc and Project Pat (which also features Loc the Great). When Angry Nerdz first started recording together, they made music for fun and planned on making a mixtape with Maxx and Cashdro called “TJ Maxx”(like the store). Loc the Great then inquired if music is being made then it should involve him too. They began to take their music more serious and that’s when the name Angry Nerdz came about in the summer of 2011. Their love for video games, computers, and overall “geekyness” coined the name. Just by being themselves, they did not want to sound like anyone else and wanted to do something different that nobody else is doing. This was the start of a style that would make them stand out and expand their creative ability when it comes to making music. Angry Nerdz became the group to go to when it comes to being opening acts for major artists because of their stage presence, party music, and fan base. From catchy hooks, to the love for the party scene, Angry Nerdz will soon become a household name. Angry Nerdz first project will be released in late summer of 2012 which is entitled “Party With the Lights On,” which is based on the party lifestyle of the members. The first single on the project is called, “Turnt On,” which will soon be flooding the underground scene in hopes of becoming a top charted song in today’s music industry. Angry Nerdz knows the path to success is not going to be easy amongst the masses hoping for the same. Relying on pure talent, faith, and the love of their fans to distinguish themselves from the one hit wonders. They will not settle for anything less than a permanent homestead in the world of music. Angry Nerdz has the desire to change the world in a positive way, one verse, one concert, and one fan at a time.
