About Andrés Correa

Andres Correa (singer-songwriter, guitarrist) was born in 1978 in Bogotá, Colombia. To date, he has put out two independent works: Utópico de cancer (Utopic of Cancer) and Prueba y error (Trial and Error). The song Utópico de cancer was the theme song for the colombian television series "Pandillas, guerra y paz" and the album Prueba y error was reviewd by Shock magazine as one of the most important independent works of 2006. Andres received aswell a nomination for best male artist in the Shock magazine awards in 2005. His work is influenced by artists such as Jorge Drexler, Fito Páez, Paulinho Moska, Joaquín Sabina, Pedro Guerra and Charly García, among others.
