Amanita Virosa was formed in 2008 in Mikkeli, Finland. It has grown to its current form in 2014 resulting in the band releasing their debut album, Asystole in 2015. Calling their music 'hospital metal' and being named after the poisonous fungus, Amanita Virosa combine various styles from death metal to melodic black metal with an emphasis on keyboards.
