About Alps of New South Wales
Chris Hearn now releases music and performs as 'Alps'. Hearn is from Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia and in 2004 started making music using the name Alps. In 2005 he began to tour Australia and release music. In 2006 Alps toured Australia and New Zealand twice, USA and Europe for the first time, and released a debut record titled "Alps of New South Wales". Around the release of this record, Hearn was regularly billed under the extended name of the record, Alps of New South Wales. Since Alps has continued to tour internationally, released two follow up albums to Wales, titled "Alps of New South Whales" and "Alps of New South Wails", and a string of other recordings. Alps is based in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia.
