Alanalda is a band from Carlow and Dublin, Ireland, and consists of founder member Dermot O'Leary on Vox /Guitar, Andrew Cooke on Bass/Piano/Vox, Dylan Curran on Violin/Piano/Bass/Guitar/Vox, Evan Harding on Guitar/Vox and Pauline Freeman on Cello. In 2006 they released the EP Demonstration which received positive reviews: "their use of violin brings echoes of Scarlet Riviera on Dylan's Desire album."
