About Alanïa

Alanïa was an ambient group from Tromsø, Norway. They only released two albums, Instinctive Travels in 1996 and Skyjuice in 1997. The group consisted of Rune Lindbæk and Torbjørn Brundtland with help from Svein Berge and Gaute Barlindhaug. Rune Lindbæk has released music as a solo artist, and been involved in projects such as Those Norwegians, Drum Island, Frost and Moonflowers. Torbjørn Brundtland and Svein Berge are most known for their work in electronica group Röyksopp, but were also part of the group Aedena Cycle with Gaute Barlindhaug and Kolbjørn Lyslo. Torbjørn Brundtland has also been involved in Those Norwegians and Drum Island as an artist. He has also worked as producer for Bel Canto, Anneli Drecker, Frost and Annie.
