About Alain Delorme
Alain Michel Verstraete, known professionally as Alain Delorme, was a French singer born on September 17, 1950, in Roubaix. He started his career in the early 1970s with the Belgian group Crazy Horse, achieving significant success with four million records sold primarily in France and Belgium. Delorme left the group in 1975 to pursue a solo career, releasing his first solo single "Romantique avec toi" which reached number 2 on the Ultratop French-language chart in October 1975. He released several albums, including Livre d'Amour (1976) and Pour Danser (1985). Delorme performed in various galas, television shows, and tours across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He died of a heart attack on August 7, 2020, in Roubaix.
