Aktiv Dödshjälp (means Active Euthanasia) is a experimental Crust-punk band from Sweden, that was formed by Tomas Nilsson in 2004. Aktiv Dödshjälps earlier demos are pure Crust-punk, but over the years they took influence from all kind of metal genres, especially Black- and Death Metal and have since developed a unique sound. Their first full-length saw the light of day in 2007 and was entitled "4:48" and this is the starting point of their "Blackned Crust-punk" sound. Three years later they released their second full-length, "Men Allting Har Ett Slut" (But Everything has an End), which took an even more metal-sounding approach than "4:48".
