About Akın Eldes
Akın Eldes is a prominent Turkish guitarist, who is best known for his work with Bulutsuzluk Özlemi between 1986–2000. He was born in Frankfurt, Germany, and played mandolin and flute as a child. Eldes started playing the guitar in high school. He played with the bands E-5, Painted Bird, Asım Can Gündüz, singer-songwriter Bülent Ortaçgil, bassist Gürol Ağırbaş, composer Melih Kibar and Çapkınlar among others prior to joining Bulutsuzluk Özlemi. Nowadays, he is playing with a Turkish rock band Pinhani. Eldes is a respected session musician and also has six solo albums which tell his musical aspect; Kafi (2001), Türlü (2004), Cango (2007), Ara Taksim (2009), Başka Türlü (2010) and Hane-i Akustik (2011). Akın Eldes's unique technique and the characteristic sound make him different from other guitarists in the world.
