About Adam Burgess
Australian composer Adam Burgess is best known for his contributions to Blizzard Entertainment’s video game franchise Overwatch. Having created hours of in-game music, cinematic scores, and broadcast-ready production music, he has been a driving force in the creation of music for both the Overwatch franchise and Blizzard’s premier e-sport league, the Overwatch League. Burgess is currently composing for Overwatch 2, announced in November 2019 at BlizzCon. Having worked in-house at Blizzard since 2015, Adam has also composed, orchestrated and arranged music for AAA gaming franchises World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone, and Diablo III: Reaper of Souls. Burgess holds Bachelor of Music degrees from both Berklee College of Music (contemporary writing and production), and the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music (classical guitar performance).
