A is for Avenue are a 6 piece pop-punk band from Upstate New York. The band is composed of Kevin (18) on Synth, Dave (20) on bass and vocals, Kenny (19) on drums, Kevin (18) on lead guitar, Brandon on guitar and Brian (19) on vocals. AIFA was conceived in the summer of 2007, and since then their sound and personality have evolved so much for the better. Combining catchy melodies with pounding drums, electrifying synth, and the occasional breakdowns, it is clear that A is for Avenue cannot be defined by a single genre. The band's fun, energetic live show always leaves the crowd with smiles on their faces. Whether it's your first time or your last time seeing AIFA live, this band is going to make sure the memory will leave you asking for more. AIFA has released 2 Eps titled respectively "I Want A Divorce" (2008) and "Hollywoods on Fire" (2009), both self produced and recorded. A is for Avenue booked and journeyed on a 10 day tour along the East Coast with the band Think Big! and are looking to spread their infectious melodies again in the Summer of 09. A is for Avenue have shared the stage with Honor Bright (Triple Crown Records), Driver Side Impact (Victory Records), With The Punches, The Doppler Effect, The Years Gone By(Rise Records), and many more amazing bands. AIFA is coming out with a new record in the summer, so be on the look out for a brand new taste of A is for Avenue.
