A New Kind of American Saint was a straight-edge metalcore band from Tallahassee, Florida. It consisted of former I Have Dreams/New Ethic members Allen Compton (vocals), Mike Peters (guitar), Ben Seals (bass) and Clayton Rychlik (drums), alongside Nathan Hagaman (guitar). Their only demo 'Take A Shit' was released in 2000. "Angry straightedge hardcore kids with tight pants, big hearts, small dicks and high fidelity samples."
