5 Adım (also known as Grup 5 Adım in some instances) originated from Fenerbahçe High School. Led by Atilla Atam and featuring Abdullah Bardakçıoğlu (vocals) and Necdet Tonguç, the group released the single Sevgiye Hasret/Gözleri Kara Dilber in 1973. After their one-record venture, Atam continued making music in various groups of the time.
