Their first concert was given at an independent club "Fish Fabrique" on August 9, 1997. Their hard sound, tuned down guitars, aggressive performing are in consistency with their lyrics which are referring to life in St. Petersburg, outrage of authority, the drug problem and a lack of social security. Rough and quite ultimatistic music of 5 Uglov is aimed towards literal percepting public frequenting hardcore and streetcore music concerts.
