About 10x0c

10x0c, real name Logan Perry was born in the heat of Albuquerque, New Mexico in the United States. After moving to North Carolina, Logan took to music when he was young, learning how to play piano, play in a band, and a little bit of guitar. In 2018 Logan started to play around in music production, mostly just playing random things with presets and drum patterns. A year later he decided to start a SoundCloud page and started under the alias of "Cube-BiT" referring to chip-tune and retro sounds at the time but that changed as Cube-BiT began to grow into more of the Tech-House and Electro genres. During the spring of 2020, Logan began to expand horizons from electronic to ambient works, heavily inspired by C418, he adopted a new alias "10x0c" a reference to when typing "10x0c" into google, one would receive the knowledge panel for the speed of light. Soon after, 10x0c released his first singe known as "Together", a piano and synth based song about hope and others. Months later he released his first album "Memories". This album was a reflection of memories in Logan's journey to music and the summer of 2020. After "Memories", Logan would turn to piano based and small releases such as "Ashes" and "Ortum", a single for the group of friends doing releases during December of 2020. In 2021, 10x0c would begin to shift back to electronic approaches, composing the soon to be "Memory Man", an electronic and ambient infused 10 minute single as to reference the new style of 10x0c work that would soon to be unearthed that summer, as well as referencing the old style of 10x0c works from "Memories". The spring of 2021 would contain the release of "Fractals" a house beat driven single featuring the newer melodic melodies that Logan was working with at the time. Along with this, his joining of the net-label "NJOM" ran by Noah Jones (aka MinimusNoah) would initiate the goal for the longest NJOM release of that summer, "Equinox", the concept that started the whole 10x0c alias would be executed into a 2 and a half, 20 track LP consisting of his new electronic works and pre-Memories concepts into one large atmosphere. During the 2022, Logan would begin working out of the software and into hardware with the introduction of live synthesis and downtempo works such as "Monologic", a minimally beat driven electronic take on the former ambient 10x0c style, announcing the new approach to further 10x0c works to come. This was followed by the collaboration with Molori, "Standing Waiting", an electronic and downtempo fusion of the 10x0c and Molori style, this would be followed by the production of "When We Learn to Love" and "Drifting" . In October of 2022, Both Chelsea and Logan performed a lived adaptation of Standing Waiting during a school concert, closing their saga of the "Standing Waiting era" of the duo. 10x0c would re-emerge at the dawn of 2023, rebranding colloquially to "xoc" or "the xoc", taking a more masqueraded persona with the shift of design styles and musical distinction from the pervious minimalist approach, towards a more complex tone. The xoc would shift to a macabre era in the leading up to his sophomore extended play, which is yet to be officially announced.
