"A fairytale of love and loss - a realm of art where passion meets the yearning for a better world." - from the band's Facebook page; Founded by five well-known musicians from the Bulgarian metal scene, Velian released their debut album Godless in 2018. It received a lot of praise from all local metal-oriented media and was followed by the equally successful Spectacle of Tragedy in 2023. The band is famous for its concept and messages related to the dangers of materialism and misplaced values in society and its live shows. Velian 's third album, called Embers, was released on March 13th 2026.
