Stephanie Kim (stage name: Stephanie/Stephanie The Grace; Korean: 스테파니/스테파니 더 그레이스; born October 16, 1987 in San Diego, California) is a Korean-American singer, dancer, model, and actress active in South Korea. She is also a member of 천상지희 the Grace and made her debut as a solo artist in 2012 with the single, "The New Beginning". Although she was chosen for the group because of her fantastic vocal ability, Stephanie's area of expertise is dance; her stage name meaning "Dance of Heaven." In 2010, Stephanie suffered a major back injury that forced her to halt all activities with The Grace, and promptly returned to her family in America to recieve therapy. She has since recovered, and came back to South Korea as a solo artist in October of 2012.
