About 陶晶瑩
Matilda Tao (陶晶瑩), born 29th October 1969, is a television show host, singer-songwriter and author. Upon an unsuccessful singer debut in 1990, she changed paths to start hosting shows. She made a comeback in 1995 and released several records under label, UFO Group, cementing her musical image while still gaining little commercial success. A 2-year hiatus saw her switching labels to Formosa Music, which houses A-Mei (張惠妹) and more, and her beginning to write her own songs. Her 1999 record 我變了 (I've Changed) was her commercial outbreak, finally convincing her television audience that she is equally a musician to a variety show host. She released multiple successful follow-ups entering the 2000s.
