胎児 (Taiji, meaning "fetus") was a noise / industrial band active in the mid 1980s. They have released a few tapes and flexi discs on their own label 胎内レーベル (Taiji Raberu - Fetus Label). Their music may remind of other artists of the same period like SPK. They have also released and participated on two cassette compilations: "乱痴気 Aid オムニバス" (Ranchiki Aid Omnibus) in 1985, and "胎内レーベルオムニバス" (Fetus Label Omnibus) in 1987 featuring an early track from Merzbow.
