About 渡辺岳夫

Born in 1933, Takeo Watanabe, mostly known for his 1970s shojo anime soundtracks, went to Paris to study music composition in 1967, then returned to his home country a few years later. He then began work for TMS Entertainment and Toei. When he died in 1989, he left behind a rather impressive discography of around 50 soundtracks created over a twenty year span (including the Gundam TV series and movies).
