About 泉まくら
Izumi Macra (泉まくら), sometimes credited simply as "Macra", is a vocalist and hip hop DJ based in Fukuoka, Japan. She self-describes her work as "a normal girl rapping, sad, impressionable, and a little sexy". She first appeared on SNEEEZE's album BELIEF in 2011. She was signed to the Subenoana label in 2012 and debuted with her demo CD 卒業と、それまでのうとうと (Sotsugyou to, sore made no utouto). She appeared live later that year in くるり's WHOLE LOVE KYOTO festival. She also gathered attention in 2013 with her collaboration song "最終電車 (Saishû no densha)" with Passepied (パスピエ). Her most notable collaboration to date is with mabanua on the soundtrack for the Japanese animated series Space Dandy.
