Morioka Ken (森岡賢) is an ex-member of the japanese band SOFT BALLET. In 1982 he started his career as a professional keyboard player working with bands like BUCK-TICK and Zabadak until 1986 SOFT BALLET was formed. While still in the band, 1994 Moriokas first Solo Album "Questions" was released. In 1995 they shut activities down for the first time and 3 years later his next maxi single "FAT" was published from Polydor Records and in 1999 the singles "ZERO", "Plastic Flower" and Moriokas 2nd Album "JAPANESE" followed. He stayed productive, releasing the maxi single "BIRTH" in 2000 and his 3rd album "ELECTRONICA" and his 4th album "FANTASIA" in 2001. After the comeback of SOFT BALLET from 2002-2003, Morioka released his next single in 2004, entitled "Always Need Your Love". In 2005 his 5th album "Jade" from FATE RECORDS another single, "NEW GROOMING" were released. Until the present day several solo tours have followed. In between Morioka worked with artists such as ISSAY, 布袋寅泰, produced albums and also wrote tracks for the animé' "KAIKAN Phrase" and "GHOST in the shell".
